Breedon strengthens national Minimix concrete offering through acquisition of Hardcrete
Kings Langley-based Hardcrete strengthens Breedon’s minimix service via new acquisition. The move marks a key milestone in Breedon’s ambitious strategy
This summer 1st Mix supported a local charity that is making a real difference in its community. We were delighted to donate concrete to the Tom Thumb Holt Campsite in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, in support of the local Scouts Association.
This site, which has experienced some decline in recent years, is now undergoing a long-awaited restoration. Our contribution marks a first step in revitalising the area and returning it to a space where young people can learn and explore.
Our concrete donation was used to create foundation pads on-site that now support two large shipping containers. These containers will be used as secure storage units to house equipment, and materials for the renovation work.
As the restoration continues, we wish Tom Thumb Holt campsite all the best and look forward to watching the progress.
